The Italians call them 'Bomboniere', gifts which are given out on special occasions, such as a wedding, to the guests. They are a beautiful reminder of a wonderful day. They usually come with sugared almonds, known as 'Confetti'. But we also have chocolate dragees if you prefer.

Five confetti are placed inside the Bomboniere and symbolise health, wealth, happiness, long life and fertility.
 
The colour of sugared almonds is white for a Wedding, First Communion or Confirmation.
Pink or light-blue are usually reserved for a Birthday or Baptism.
Red is generally used for a Graduation, and silver or gold for 25th or 50th Wedding Anniversary or anniversaries for other occasions.

But of course you can choose whichever colour you like!

For a one off payment of £2.50 they can be personalised with little tags with the names of the Bride and Groom and the date of the Wedding.
